The Polish Ministry of National Education has announced an expansion of funding for the Awepath Educational Pathways program. This measure targets the 2025 student intake and seeks to increase access to structured educational routes that combine academic study with vocational training across multiple regions.

Allocation of Additional Resources
The ministry will provide an extra 15 million Polish zloty to support scholarships, facility upgrades, and instructor development. The increase follows performance reviews that demonstrated strong completion rates and employment outcomes in prior intakes. Approximately 2,000 additional places will be created for the 2025 cycle, with emphasis on applicants from rural districts and disadvantaged backgrounds. New course modules in digital literacy and sustainable development will be introduced through expanded university partnerships.
Program administrators report that the additional funds will also cover expanded mentorship services and internship placements. Selection criteria will prioritize academic potential alongside socioeconomic factors to ensure equitable distribution. The ministry plans to publish updated application guidelines on the Awepath portal in the first quarter of 2025.
Expected Benefits for Participants
Enrolled students will follow individualized pathways that integrate classroom learning with practical work experience. Earlier cohorts have recorded graduation rates above the national average and faster entry into skilled employment. The funding supports career guidance services and certification programs aligned with labor market demands in technology and green industries.
Policy analysts note that the initiative supports national objectives for workforce modernization and regional development. Data collection will continue to monitor long-term participant progress. Applications open in March 2025, with final enrollment decisions expected by June.
